A little change in plans...

Hello folks! I'm just gonna get straight to the point and announce that I am in fact BACK in SOUTH AFRICA!!! I was invited to stay in Stellenbosch and am doing so for a couple of months!! The photograph below was taken at Camps Bay in Cape Town.
I have started working as a Receptionist for a gorgeous Wine Estate around the corner from where I am staying, and am also doing an E-Learning Course in Human Resource Management to keep me busy! This photo was taken on my cousin's balcony at Sea Point. You can see the stadium behind me that was built for the 2010 soccer world cup.
I know this is all so sudden and pretty crazy, but I just wanted to follow my heart, and let's just say that love is definitely in the air. Will be returning to Perth at the end of May, then who knows what'll be next in my forever changing adventure....???

Hilary's Harbour, Mandurah & Perth Zoo!

All along the coast of Western Australia (of what I've seen so far), there are beautiful harbour towns. So have explored a few including Fremantle which was in my last post.

Hilary's Harbour - this little beach area is surrounded my restaurants. It is almost like a little oasis!

AQWA - Aquarium of Western Australia is a must see if you enjoy that sort of thing! It is bigger and better than any other aquarium I have been to. There were about 4 scuba divers inside the centre tank with sharks of all sizes!

Met a pelican the size of a kid...

Mandurah - About a 50 minute journey South of Perth.

If you go to Mandurah, PLEASE try the butter chicken curry at The Merchant! One word: Amazeballs!

I found this sign amusing with a snoring kangaroo in the background... That is one thing I don't enjoy about zoo's, is that because most of the animals don't have much room to roam, they sleep all day!

But lucky for this big Asian elephant, he/she is taken for walks around the zoo for exercise!

Ah yes! My first koala bear sighting... and he too was asleep.

Bunbury Bound!

The clouds gathered for the first time in Perth since I've been here on the morning of the public holiday Monday. But that didn't stop us.
We spent the afternoon at the Fremantle harbour. Here you will find yacht after yacht, storehouse markets and plenty of seafood restaurants. It also has a great high street where we stopped off to run wild at the arcades and have gelato ice cream!

Felt a bit seafood-ed out after this lunch platter! I must say the crayfish was the best bit.
I am back in Bunbury for the week and immediately feel relaxed! Here is a lovely view of Bunbury's one and only "Milk Carton" building on the other side of the river.
Took the sausages Bella and Tilly for a stroll this afternoon. I am totally falling in love with these dogs!

Tried and thoroughly enjoyed a body balance class tonight with my Aunt! Feel rejuvenated! It feels good to be exercising again! I wore one of my Aunt's Lorna Jane gym outfits. If you like gym-clothes shopping, you will LOVE Lorna Jane!

Burswood Crescent & Cottesloe beach

This is my cousin's apartment in East Perth. They stay on the 9th floor, which is why we get such a perfect view of the city! It is a very safe and peaceful neighbourhood, besides the ducks quacking away in the morning on the golf course! These ducks do not really quack, they shout!

I took a drive to Cottesloe beach, which is probably the most gorgeous white sandy beach in Western Australia.

Typically, I managed to get lost on the way back! Getting lost however, is the best way to discover beautiful places! I found myself stopped at a yacht club before continuing my journey.
